Leviticus : Guidelines law, hygiene, offerings

A lot of uncleanness is mentioned, presumably some guidelines to keep up hygiene:

Leviticus 7:24 The fat of an animal found dead or torn by wild animals may be used for any other purpose, but you must not eat it

Leviticus 7:25 And wherever you live, you must not eat the blood of any bird or animal

Leviticus 11:39 If an animal that you are allowed to eat dies, anyone who touches its carcass will be unclean till evening

Leviticus 12:2 [..] A woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son will be ceremonially unclean for seven days [..]

Some seem to be extreme though:

Leviticus 15:19 When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period will last seven days and anyone who touches her will be unclean till evening

Some are a bit arbitrary:

Leviticus 21:9 If a priest’s daughter defiles herself by becoming a prostitute, she disgraces her father; she must be burned in the fire

Leviticus 21:17 For the generations to come none of your descendants who has a defect may come near to offer the food of his God

Also some rulings:
Leviticus 24:19 Anyone who injures their neighbour is to be injured in the same manner: [20] fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. The one who inflicted the injury must suffer the same injury.

Leviticus 25:4 But in the seventh year the land is to have a year of sabbath rest, a sabbath to the Lord. Do not sow your fields or prune your vineyards

Punishment for disobedience ( a little bit out of context)

Leviticus 26:29 You will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters
